| Course Details
The golf course has been undergoing changes under the direction of Gary Kern, Golf Course Architect, during the past several years in an attempt to create better conditions for play as well as develop more strategy, definition and fairness in the holes.
To date, seven new greens have been built, several older greens revised, bunkers added and revised.
Several holes have been rerouted, the fourth now playing to a green tight by a lake, the fifteenth playing across a ravine off the tee, (pictured above), and the seventeenth to a new green.
Fourteen is a new par three playing across a lake, and eighteen is a new par four finishing hole.
One of the more dramatic changes became apparent in 2003, that being the new tenth hole which now plays downhill, offering a spectacular vista from the tee.
A dramatic new 11th hole constructed by Sellenriek Grading Company also opened for play. This par three hole plays downhill to a scenic green setting overlooking the Meramec River, backdropped by a large rock outcropping. Sellenriek also constructed a new 12th par 4 hole which was opened in 2004. New tees were constructed on the 13th hole to lessen the angle of the dogleg and add length to the hole as well as offer spectacular views of the Meramec River and surrounding countryside.
In 2006 we enlarged the first green and added a rear tee. A new practice tee and putting green have been constructed close to the clubhouse.
