Meramec Lakes Golf Course
In recent years, Meramec Lakes Golf Course has continued to develop under the guidance of expert golf architect Gary Kern. Under his guidance, Meramec Lakes Golf Course has created better conditions, which enhance more strategy, definition and fairness in the holes. These improvements include seven new greens, renovations to older pieces of the course and the additions and revisions of many bunkers.
Players familiar with this Franklin County golf course will also notice that several holes have been rerouted, with the fourth playing tight by a lake, the fifteenth playing across a ravine off a tee, and the seventeenth ending with a new green. Also, fourteen is a new par three across a lake and eighteen is a new par four finishing hole. However, the most popular addition remains the tenth hole, which gives golfers an incredible, downhill vista from the tee. The view is so beautiful, it will almost challenge you to focus on your shot.
Nearly every hole of the challenging yet relaxing Meramec Lakes Golf Course has experienced a recent enhancement. The eleventh hole, constructed by Sellenriek Grading Company, is a par three that also slopes downhill to a scenic green that overlooks Meramec River, back-dropped by a gorgeous rock outcropping. Sellenriek also built the new par four twelfth hole. The thirteenth hole features a new set of tees, which lessen the angle of the dogleg, add length to the hole, and offers players another scenic view of the gorgeous Meramec River.
Whether your interest lies in relaxing among a stunning Missouri landscape or challenging yourself at the premiere St. Clair golf course, Meramec Lakes Golf Course has you covered.
